Profile
Jeanne M. Whalen's practice focuses on general corporate, contracting, and acquisition matters, with an emphasis on technology and health care-related transactions. She has a Computer Science Engineering degree from the University of Michigan and interned at Microsoft Corporation in the Developer Tools Division. Ms. Whalen's experience includes:
- Public and private company mergers and acquisitions and joint venture transactions, including in the technology and health care sectors;
- Representing technology companies and other companies engaging in technology-related transactions; and
- General corporate representation including counsel to Boards of Directors, entity information and capitalization, shareholder agreements, and customer and supplier relationships.
Prior to joining Dykema, Ms. Whalen worked in education.

Ms. Whalen was Valedictorian of her law school class and was the Operations Editor for the University of Toledo Law Review in 2007-2008. She also served an externship with Judge David Katz in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio.
