Profile
Jenée (Jen) primarily focuses her practice on workers’ compensation matters. She counsels state-funded and self-insured employers to help them navigate a wide range of claim-related issues, including initial claim allowances, authorizations for treatment, lost-time compensation, compliance and safety considerations, and claim resolution. Jen regularly represents clients at proceedings before the Ohio Industrial Commission and through appeals into appellate/trial courts. She has developed an advantageous perspective of various workers’ compensation conflicts, having spent the early stages of her career “on the other side of the table” at a firm representing claimants/plaintiffs. This experience has lent to her ability to thoroughly evaluate a claim from all sides, identify a current strategy’s strengths and weaknesses, and swiftly anticipate and defend against issues raised by opposing parties.
Jen is a “triple-Bearcat,” having earned her B.A., M.B.A., and J.D. from the University of Cincinnati. She is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association and remains active in the Cincinnati legal community. She also volunteers statewide as a judge in mock trial/moot court competitions for middle and high school students.
