Jorge Kafati is a Senior Associate of the BLP office in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. Specializing in Labor & Employment, Global Migration & Relocation, and Administrative Law, Jorge has over nine years at BLP. He has advised companies such as Walmart, Claro, Mapfre, American Airlines, Promerica Bank, and PepsiCo on labor and legal matters in Honduras. In Administrative Law, Jorge obtains licenses and sanitary registrations of products. He also has experience in migration, and obtaining permits and residencies. He joined BLP in 2015.

Significant Accomplishments
UPS withdraws Operations in Honduras. BLP advised UPS on the liquidation of all employment and the closure of operations in the country.  
BLP advised Mega Distribuidora Avicola. BLP conducted labor due diligence for our client Mega Distribuidora Avicola to ensure that all files for 800 employees comply with labor law. 
BLP advises Agroindustrias del Corral on labor matters, including managing agricultural and livestock personnel and restructuring the Human Resources department.
