Marja was the Head of the Bureau Social Legal Aid (Ministry of Justice) from 1986-1990. From 1991-1992 Marja was the In- house lawyer for the Organization of Trade and Industry in Suriname. Marja ia an Attorney at Law since 1993 and acts as a Mediator since 2000.
