Melanija Jovanovic is an associate in the Employment Team of Walder Wyss. Her preferred areas of practice include employment law, contract law, corporate and commercial law, migration law as well as social security law. She represents parties before all Swiss authorities and state courts. In addition, she assists clients in internal investigations.

She studied law (M.A. HSG in Law) and business administration (B.A. HSG in Business Administration) at the University of St. Gallen. During her studies, Melanija Jovanovic completed two short-term internships at a leading business law firm in Zurich and a leading law firm in St. Gallen and worked in the general secretariat of a Swiss bank as well as a research assistant at the Chair for Public Law at the University of St. Gallen. Subsequently, she completed her legal internships at a leading law firm in St. Gallen as well as at the Office of the Attorney General of Switzerland in Bern. In 2023 Melanija Jovanovic was admitted to the bar.

Melanija Jovanovic practices in German and English. She also speaks Serbian and Croatian and has a solid knowledge of French and elementary knowledge of Russian.
