Profile
Sabrina is a partner and the head of our commercial department. Her practice involves advising local and international clients on a diverse range of matters including reorganisations, capital market and securitisation transactions, mergers, acquisitions, bankruptcy and insolvency, taxation and pensions.
Sabrina joined the firm in 2009 after obtaining her Legal Education Certificate from the Hugh Wooding Law School in Trinidad & Tobago and being admitted to the Bar in Barbados. She earned her LL.B (Hons.) from the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill, in 2007.
Prior to embarking on a legal career, Sabrina was an auditor with PricewaterhouseCoopers in Barbados. She later joined the firm of Deloitte in, Barbados as a consultant and has worked extensively with entities in a wide cross section of sectors, including the financial services, international business, and tourism and hospitality sectors.
Sabrina is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. She is also a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Barbados where she serves as a member of the Legislation Committee and the By-Law Committee.
In addition, Sabrina is a qualified chartered secretary and a trust and estate practitioner (TEP). She has also undergone training in taxation with the International Bureau of Fiscal Documentation.
