Profile
Thomas Angermair has been a partner and head of the employment law team at DORDA since 1993. He is an expert in Austrian and European labour law, corporate law, foundation law, IP and the fields of art and culture.
Thomas Angermair advises employers from all sectors (including banks, international organisations and cultural institutions) and executives on all aspects of labour law and on specific transactions such as corporate restructuring and reorganisations.
His employment law practice focuses on service, management and executive contracts, works agreements, stock options, incentive plans, employee benefits, termination agreements, severance payments and tax aspects of employment relationships. He also has many years of experience in labor court and arbitration proceedings. His expertise in corporate mergers and restructurings includes due diligence on labor liability issues and outsourcing of services, as well as strategic advice on plant closures and mass redundancies. Thomas Angermair is a member of the supervisory boards and board member of several private foundations.
