Profile
Tyla Foster is an Executive at ENS in the Mine and Occupational Health and Safety practice.
She has represented, and appeared on behalf of, listed and unlisted companies in formal accident inquiry proceedings and formal and informal investigations conducted in terms of the South African Mine Health and Safety Act, 1996 ("MHSA") and the Occupational Health and Safety Act, 1993 ("OHASA").
Tyla's expertise includes providing legal advice, and furnishing legal opinions, to clients on legislative requirements in terms of the MHSA, OHASA and the Compensation for Occupational Injuries and Diseases Act, 1993. She also assists clients with the review of health and safety agreements and mandatary agreements. She has drafted letters of appointment and has provided legal advice on mandatory and discretionary legal appointments and legal appointment structures.
Tyla has also conducted multiple due diligence investigations relating to occupational health and safety matters.
