Patterson Belknap has once again been included on The American Lawyer’s “A-List” of 20 leading law firms in the United States. The 2023 A-List is based on five criteria: pro bono performance, associate satisfaction, diversity of lawyers, percentage of women equity partners, and financial performance. The American Lawyer reports that its annual A-List ranking recognizes the most well-rounded law firms of the year “that have found a way to achieve not just financial success but also do right by their employees and communities.”

The firm continues to be ranked among the top firms nationally on The American Lawyer’s annual Pro Bono Survey, including this year in the top ten law firms in the nation. Since 2004, 100% of the Firm’s lawyers participated in pro bono projects.
