Karanović & Nikolić Publishes 2016 Learning & Development Calendar

April, 2016 -

From its beginnings, Karanović & Nikolić has shown a deep commitment towards attracting, developing and attaining top experts in the legal profession. In order to be the best we must have the best people and offering a world class learning and development programme has been an integral part of our business philosophy. By providing the opportunity to our people to grow individually and become better professionals we are able to provide better service to our clients.

As the latest update in this regard, Karanović & Nikolić has recently published its Learning & Development Calendar for 2016, with the aim of providing a clear overview of the many significant topics that will be covered as part of our regionally unique training programme.

Principal topic for 2016 will be Communication, an essential skill for the practice of law. The trainings are designed to help the participants to prepare for the future trends and improve the ease of communication both with clients and with colleagues. The strategic importance of this topic has made us split the entire training into a number of smaller workshops with the goal of tackling different aspects of communication across the office:

  • Communication in the service of Leadership and Business Development – for Partners
  • Communication and Team Dynamics – for Senior Associates
  • Negotiation & Influencing / The Art of Legal Drafting - for all lawyers
  • Business Writing / Project Management / Communication – for the support teams.

Another topic of great importance is Resilience, and this will be the central topic for a number of workshops and activities for the entire office during our traditional Summer Teambuilding Event. We know that the work of our people is stressful and that is why we would like to provide them with the opportunity to grow stronger and be better prepared to face daily challenges and bounce back if faced with difficulties.

Knowledge sharing is vital for us and on top of these general trainings which will be provided by both external and our own experts we will have regular legal and soft skills trainings planned for specific departments, practices and regional teams.
